Question:

Damaged OEM ladder. Looking for a replacement. how will the Stromberg Carlson LA-401BA handle the in and out of the endcap at the rear window? OEM ladder had two sets of 12 inch stand-offs still have at the section of the endcap that is in farther then the top and bottom of the endcap?

Expert Reply:

The Stromberg Carlson # LA-401BA has a hinge that can be installed where the two ladder pieces join, which can help with any odd shapes on the rear of your coach. These are typically used on travel trailers but they can also be used on Class A or Class C RVs. I've linked a photo for you to have a look at that shows how flexible the ladder is. The Surco # SP501L is also hinged and is 97" long and might also work.

Hi, Is the ladder shown in the sideways picture the one you sell or the original posters coach? I need that same ladder. The Stromberg hinge doesn't apply. These ladders are as straight as can be. As Joe O mentioned, the middle standoffs are really long. Joe O, if you get responses..... did you ever find a replacement? Thanks, Joe M

@JoeM That top ladder is not one that we carry. That would be a setup we wouldn't be able to help with since the top standoffs are a lot longer and we only have options that are quite a bit shorter.
