Question:

I have this tire currently in the C rating 65 mph at 2340 lbs. What alternative would you suggest, to keep the same ground clearance and have a 70-75 mph speed rating with better gas mileage?

I have a solution for you, but we won't have a tire that is ST235/75r15 that isn't an off-road type tire like the # WST54FR. With that said, you could go down to an ST225/75r15 tire like the # LHWL304 and only lose about .2" of total ground clearance. These tires have a Load Range E with a maximum capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi and a speed rating of L- which means they're safe up to 75mph. This would be the best solution available and would be a good alternative to your current off-road style tires.
