Replacement Circuit Board MaxxFan Plus Smoke MA00-04951KS

Question:

2014, Grand Design Solitude ST379FL. Bathroom overhead vent fan MaxxFan Plus Smoke MA00-04951KS with wall mounted keypad will not close. Troubleshooting as follows: press Fan On Vent opens fan operates through 4 speeds. Press Fan Off fan stops Vent does not close. Alternatively, press Vent Open vent opens, press Vent Close vent does not close. Cleaned Rain Sensor - no change, unplugged Rain Sensor - no change. Changed out Keypad with another fan in RV - no change. Also, please note the problem is not the drive motor or the operating mechanism. Can you confirm the Circuit Board is the problem along with correct part number. The picture you show of this part # MA10A04751KS does not look like the one I have. AirXcel parts list shows 4751KS, 4761KS, 4951KS 10-04751KS-V1.2 Printed Circuit Board.

This definitely sounds like the circuit board, so you'll want to use the Replacement Printed Circuit Board # MA10A04751KS which is designed to work with models 4751KS, 4761KS, and 4951KS. I know some other customers have been apprehensive about this part because it doesn't look exactly like their old board, but it is the correct part. I've linked a photo of some of those product reviews about their apprehensions, and how it ended up working for them.
