Sound quality is very poor. If you drive it to a significant volume the sound becomes very distorted. I would not recommend.
30.00 cheaper than that other online vendor!!!! Had to replace one of these due to mice getting inside my old one and blowing up the amp. I cut and installed metal speaker grate over the open port to prevent this from happening again. It did not affect the sound quality. Only had the replacement in one day, but so far so good. I moved it from the odd place Forest River put it, on the floor under a drawer, which made it muffled and non-adjustable, and placed it in a better listening area. It has manual volume and frequency phase adjust knobs.
I purchased this item to replace an identical one that had ceased working. The original was original equipment in a 2015 Sunseeker motorhome that I purchased new in May 2014. After realizing that the subwoofer was not working several weeks ago, I began troubleshooting to determine why. All analysis led to failure of the power amp in the unit, so I decided to purchase a complete new one. It arrived today and I immediately installed it. Happy to say I am back in business with a complete sound system again, just in time for a trip next week. Now on to disassembly of the failed unit to see if it is repairable.
