The Taylor Made Marine Gas Strut for Boat Hatches part # 3691850 is for just the strut. We have several options for the 10 mm bases however to pick what works best for you like the Taylor Made Angled Mounting Brackets for Gas Struts part # 3691883 or the Taylor Made Flat Mounting Brackets for Gas Struts part # 3691880.

The Taylor Made #3691834-40 replacement boat hatch strut does indeed include the bracket on one end and the ball mount piece on the other.
