Today we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made stainless steel gas shock angled mounting brackets for a quantity of two. Now these angled mounting brackets are for mounting your Taylor Made gas shocks. These are a stainless steel construction, so they do provide superior corrosion resistance.Few dimensions on this. The width of it is going to be right at two inches. The depth is right at about one and a quarter inches. And the overall height on it is right at one and a half inches tall.
The ball size on this is a 10-millimeter diameter ball. Does have the three mounting holes you can see in the mounting bracket, and this is for a quantity of two brackets. Stainless steel won't rust or corrode, even in saltwater.I had a pair of rusty brackets on a boat but the stainless strut was fine. Was looking for stainless replacement with the same hole locations so I can reuse existing stainless screws and holes in the fiberglass. Only difference is the ball stud on these faces inside (over the center screw hole) rather then being on the outside of bracket. A bit harder to screw that center screw in but worth the effort. I also found heavy duty ends for the strut that had brass insert threads. Rebuilt assembly should be better than new. Appreciate your great support.
These worked well for my basement project. We installed a hatch door (like a concession stand) between the play area and the living area.
