Question:
I have a 1990 four winns boat trailer. The right side bearings went out. The outer bearing number is L44549. I need a whole drum hub assembly for one side and a bearing race kit and washer for the other side. 5 lug by 4 1/2 apart. Thanks.

I believe you were referring to outer bearing # L44649 as there isn't an L44549, and while we have a bearing kit as well as a hub and drum that will work, there is still more information needed in order to get you the right one, though that bearing number and 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern does narrow it down.
You need to know your axle capacity and inner bearing number as well to get the right one. If you aren't sure of your inner bearing number, you will need to use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearing rides. You can then choose from one of the following:
- 2,000 lb axle with outer bearing # L44649 and inner bearing # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter): Bearing Kit # BK1-150, Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-2-2K
- 3,500 lb axle with outer bearing # L44649 and inner bearing # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter): Bearing Kit # BK2-100, Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K
I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
