Question:
I have a 2015 Keystone Cougar and the we recently experienced an outer wheel bearing failure on the rear axle. The spindle threads are trashed and it will not hold the nut anymore. Is there a repairs kit for the spindle or do I need a new axle? There is a tag on the axle and it says the Lipert part number for the axle is 366978.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The best option we have for a trailer with damaged spindle threads is a new axle beam as there isn't any sort of repair kit, the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam part # 8327816 matches what you need although you'd have to move the spring seats part # TRSS300 in a few inches to match what you have now.
