Question:

We tow a trailer with hitch weight 650# and also separately on occasion carry a 2000# truck camper on 2017 GMC 2500HD. Deciding between Sumospring and Timbren 25D to lift back end a bit it s 3 with truck camper. Dont want air bags, and helper springs are too $. Thoughts?

The main difference between the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-207-47 and the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRCK25D for a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 is the hardness. The Timbrens are much harder than the SumoSprings therefore will provide more support. That said, this also means that the ride quality while loaded will be less desirable.

The best option really just depends on which you will be doing more of, if you will be towing mostly then go with the SumoSprings but if you will be using the truck bed camper mostly then go with the Timbrens.
