Comparing SumoSprings Rear Helper Springs for 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

I'm looking for some rear support for my 2020 chevy silverado 3500 and like the sumosprings. but i see a couple of them that fit and was wondering what the difference is because i cant really seem to tell? any help would be appreciated thanks.

There is only one difference between the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs that fit your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, and that's the weight capacity:

- SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-203-40-2: 3,000 lb capacity at 50% compression

- SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-203-47-2: 5,000 lb capacity at 50% compression

What that means is the heavier-duty capacity springs (5,000 lbs) are more suited for if your Silverado 3500 is carrying particularly heavy loads, or towing a very large trailer or 5th wheel. The lighter duty (3,000 lb) springs are going to be plenty for the majority of people, and are my recommendation for most people that do lighter towing or have light or mid-size fifth wheel trailers. Those with long 5th wheel and toy haulers, in the 40 foot range, should go with the 5,000 lb capacity springs for the best suspension support.
