Question:

Hi, Im looking for a Roof Top Tent RTT that can fit a 2019 Ford Escape. Im under the impression that the Ford Escape can only handle 100lbs. Are there any RTT options? If not, is there a way to increase the dynamic weight capacity? If so, how and what do I need to get? Currently the vehicle is fitted with factory rails and crossbars. Thanks in advance.

Since your 2019 Ford Escape is limited to 100 lbs on the roof, and there is no way to increase capacity, the only way you can use a tent system with the '19 Escape is with a trailer that has a tent on it.

To use this with your 2019 Escape, you would need a hitch, wiring, and ball mount. For a hitch the correct fit is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98866, followed by T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118802 and Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554.
