Question:

Looking at Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # 76226. The product listing page says both including M40 modelsinch and excluding m40 models, so I want to confirm whether it will actually work with my x3m40.

According to Draw-Tite, their # 76226 Class III htich is a fit for all models of the 2020 BMW X3, including the M40i.

If you'll be using the hitch for towing, I'd recommend the # 119250KIT trailer wiring harness which doesn't require any wire cutting or splicing. I'd also recommend the # EBMK4 etrailer.com ball mount kit which includes a ball mount, a hitch pin and an interchangeable trailer ball system with 1-7/8 and 2 inch trailer balls.
