Do Tow Hooks Have to Remove for Front Hitch to Fit 2020 Ram 1500
Updated 06/05/2020 | Published 06/03/2020 >
Question:
Can the Curt hitches, 31090 or 31087 be installed and still use factory hooks? Was wondering if it would be possible to install around hooks, or to remove and reinstall hooks after installing the hitch? Would love to be able to have recovery options with either the hooks or hitch, whichever made more sense. 20200 Ram 1500 Big Horn 4x4 sport crew cab 5.7 v8 with 5.7 foot bed.

The tow hooks of your 2020 Ram 1500 do need to be permanently removed to install the Curt hitch # C87FR that you referenced. There isn't a similar hitch that would allow the tow hooks to remain.
