What Do All the Other Markings On the Trailer Grease Seal GS-2250DL Mean

Question:
Hello, In regards to wheel bearing seals. I have the part number GS-2250DL. My question is what do the rest of the markings mean? 2015 42 TRP. I can find GS-225DL seals but none of them match the 2015 42. Does that matter? Thank you

There are usually several markings/numbers stamped into a grease seal. I don't have a full list of what each of these mean but date of manufacturer "ex. 2015" and model number "ex. GS-2250DL" are both usually present. That said, you don't need to worry about trying to decipher all these other codes and markings. The Trailer Grease Seal part # GS-2250DL is what you need for replacement.
