I think Im almost already sold on the Kuat 4 bike rack, the fact it is alumunium and it has unparrelled features. What is the composition of the Thule 69tx rack? Any idea what the weight is of either rack?

The Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH69TX is primarily constructed of steel, as opposed to the aluminum construction of the Kuat NV 4, part # NV22G-NA22G. The Kuat rack weighs around 82 lbs, while the Thule weighs around 96 lbs.
