Question:

Looking for both a Class III hitch and platform bike rack for a 2019 Volvo XC 60. For the hitch, I most likely will only be using the hitch to transport 1 or 2 bikes, and not a trailer, but I do want it to be durable and to be unobtrusive visually. For the bike rack, it will be used to transport 1 or 2 bikes, 1 has a long 52 wheelbase step-through and is a Day 6 Journey, and will probably need an adapter bar too. The 2nd bike is likely to be either a standard mens or ladies bike. Please advise your recommendations on the hitch, bike rack, and XL adapter bar for the Day6 Journey. I did see on your website that the Draw-Tite 75671, 76116, and EH95VR are the recommended hitches, but I need help figuring out which is best for me to buy. Thanks.

The EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # EH95VR is the correct hitch for your 2019 Volvo XC60. The Draw Tite Hitches # 75671 and # 76116 are only confirmed to fit the XC60 up to the 2017 model year, so they will not work for you.

For your bike rack, I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HR1450Z which will work for your bikes and includes the locks. Unless your bike has almost no crossbar it will work even with women's step-thru frames. If you want to use an adapter bar like # 64005 for stability you can absolutely use that with the hook. Measuring 33-3/4 inches at full extension, it's the longest bike adapter bar we have.
