I have a wesbar light lens on it, it reads dot-sae-aist-99 the item#2423286 Is this the correct one for the one I need as a replacement ???

Typically the SAE number isn't a great way to track down the correct lens for a trailer taillights, but with yours I was able to determine that you are looking for the # 2423286.

Hey Al, the correct replacement lens you'd need is the part #440-15R as the part number you mentioned is actually not made anymore but the #440-15R is exact same design. This lens is perfectly square though. The reason it might not look that way…

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
