Question:
What size ID seal does your replacement axle # 8327834 Take? I need to replace the axle on my dump Trailer It currently has 2.25 ID seals and I was wondering what size the new axle would be 2.25 or 2.12?

The Dexter Axle, # 8327834, uses a 2.25 ID grease seal. This is the case for pretty much all 7K axles out there. You typically see the 2.125 ID seals with 5K to 5.2K axles.
If you ever need to replace your hubs in the future, we have the Dexter 7K Hub and Drum Assemblies, # 42866UC3-EZ, that fit this axle.
I'm sure you've considered this already, but I like to point it out just in case, another important aspect that you will want to consider when replacing axles is to make sure the spring center and hub face dimensions of the axle match the axles you are replacing. This axle has a spring center measurement of 80 inches and a hub face dimension of 95 inches. I attached a photo to give you a visual of what I'm talking about. if these don't match your axle, then you could run the risk of having your tires too close to your frame or your spring seats not lining up with your leaf springs.
