The Edge Diesel Evolution CTS2 Performance Tuner (X00002300) that you referenced is only a fit for Ford F-Series Super Duty Trucks so it is not compatible with your truck.

The correct Edge Diesel Evolution CTS3 Performance Tuner for your 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 I6 Diesel Engine is the part # EP36YR. This will work well for you and can increase HP up to 1175 and torque up to 470 ft lbs.
