Question:
I HAVE A 14K HORSE TRAILER I WANT TO REPLACE MY SAFETY CABLES WHAT SIZE SHOULD I USE?

I have a solution for you, but we don't have any cables that would be sufficient capacity for a horse trailer. Instead I recommend using the Buyers Products 3/8" x 35" Class 4 Trailer Safety Chain w/ 1 Clevis Hook - 43 Proof # 337BSC3835 which have a 15000-lbs capacity and are made from a high quality carbon steel that is zinc plated to help withstand corrosion. These chains come with a clevis hook on the end so they'll be easy to connect to your tow vehicle. You would need to purchase two of these since they are sold individually.
If you need something a bit longer, the Tow Ready Safety Chain Kit # 49150 are 44" long and have a bit higher capacity at 16000-lbs. These also have a clevis hook for easy hook up and are made from zinc plated steel to provide the same corrosion resistance as the Buyers Products chains mentioned above. These come as a package of 2 chains, plus some mounting hardware that you can use to connect them to your trailer.
I've linked some informational videos on these items that you may want to have a look at as well.
