Best Replacement 235/80-16 RV Trailer Tires

Question:
Hello, I have a 40foot rv with a dry wt of 11,800 lbs. The tire size is 235-80R16 Trailer King. They are 10ply tires. I was thinking of going with 14pyl Trailer King tires. Is that a good idea or should i look at another brand. I know you guys know tires and thank you for you advice. Your site is very helpful, you guys and gals do a great job. Thanks P.S. What are your top rated rv tires?

The trailer tire I recommend you use is the Kenda Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire part # AM10501 which has a load range F rating that is suited for use up to 3,960 lbs. This tire has an 81 mph speed rating and 1-year worry-free guarantee.
Please note, using a high rated trailer tire is not always going to benefit you as it can then create a harsher more stiff ride. Furthermore, ply ratings are no longer used in the trailer tire world because they can now make tires with fewer plies that hold more weight. In regards to the top brands we offer are Taskmaster, and Kenda.
