How can I add lights to my Curt cargo carrier?

This is a very common question and we have a great solution for you. Using the etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier part # e98943-44LED for LED lights or part # e98943-44 for standard incandescent lights will not only allow you to have working lights on the rear of your carrier to keep you safe but allows you to relocate your license plate as well to stay legal. Both the light brackets and the license plate holder are secured with the included hardware and simple hand tools.
This will work not only with the Curt Carriers part (Discontinued) C18153 and part # C18151 but with any cargo carrier that uses the typical 3/4" raised rail.
This kit contains all of the necessary hardware and wiring you will need with the exception of a few zip ties. This will plug into any working 4-way flat trailer connector. Check out the video I did on them below.
