Troubleshooting No Trailer Running/Tail Lights with T-One on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline
Published 03/11/2020 >
Question:
So I followed the instructions and installed with no problems. No trailer running/tail lights. I called and spoke to an advisor and still no lights. She sent me another kit and still the same issue. I get turning, brake, and emergency flashers but no tail lights. I rechecked all fuses and even add a 10A like recommended by one of the expert answers to slot #3 and still no lights. I even thought of trying to add a 20A to the last slot, slot 10 which also said trailer on the lexicon for the fuse panel. Still no tail lights. Any ideas? it is a 2019 Ridgeline RTL 2WD.

If you aren't getting running/tail lights on the T-One # 118778 installed on your 2019 Honda Ridgeline then I recommend checking the following:
First, make sure that you turn the headlights on for your Ridgeline prior to testing (this has been forgotten by other people so I felt it necessary to mention).
Also check the vehicle side connectors to make sure that nothing is damaged or bent.
If you're still having issues then check the fuses in the following positions:
Position 3 - 10 Amp
Position 6 - 7.5 Amp
Position 7 - 7.5 Amp
Position 9 - 20 Amp
You only mentioned position 3 and 10 so if you didn't look at 6, 7, and 9 that could be your problem. Even if you have fuses there you want to check to make sure that they are in good condition and not broken.
If you are still having issues then the problem has to be with your OEM wiring somewhere as the odds of you getting 2 bad wiring units are very unlikely especially with a company like Tekonsha.
