Can I flat tow my 2020 Wrangler that has a SmittyBilt XRC bumper? If yes, what do I need to do so?

Yes, you can flat tow your 2020 Jeep Wrangler with the SmittyBilt XRC front bumper. For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter.

I recommend using the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 along with the adapter # RM-035 for 3/4" thick or # RM-035-1 for 1" thick D-Ring bumper mounts.

Then for a wiring kit I highly recommend the Roadmaster Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 because it gives you all of the wiring you need as well as locks to secure your tow bar, and storage bags for when you aren't towing.

For a braking system I recommend the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 if your motorhome has hydraulic brakes or the Air Force One # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes. These remain installed on your Jeep but they are out of the way when you need to drive your Jeep around normally. In fact, you'll hardly even notice they are there after the initial installation. The Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 will also need to be installed for the DUO system.

A lot of flat towing setups might require the use of a high-low adapter to keep the tow bar level while towing a vehicle. I have linked a helpful article for you to reference to see if this applies to you. If it does then I have also linked our selection of adapters for you to filter through.
