Brake Controller Installation on 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Question:
How difficult is this unit to wire up in a 2012 Toyota 4 runner limited? Is it plug and play or will I have to cut into wiring harness? Any suggestions for installation of this product would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Installing the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 on your 2012 Toyota 4Runner is indeed a plug and play proposition. You'll need the # 3040-P brake controller wiring harness, which would plug into the white connector above and to the right of the emergency brake pedal. A super-simple install. Plug it it, ground the white wire and you're good to go.
I've linked you to an installation video on an older model 4Runner, but the installation will be similar on your vehicle. The linked instructions for the # 3040-P have a photo showing exactly where the connector is located.
