Question:
If a dolly can tow a 2006 ford crew cab
asked by: JOSEGUERRERO
Expert Reply:
The RoadMaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 has a maximum vehicle weight of 4,250 lbs. Your 2006 Ford F-150 will weigh around 4,500lbs curb weight so while it could tow a vehicle with this dolly it could not be towed on this dolly.
Flat towing is an option for you per the owners manual. Pages 198-199 provide specific guidance as to the steps you take when flat towing your 2006 F-150 for both automatic and manual transmission models.
