Will the Curt A20 Fixed 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Pucks Fix a Short Bed

Question:
Will the Curt A20 fifth wheel hitch for the long bed fit in the short bed? I dont want a slider hitch that comes up when you search for the short bed. I have a 2020 Chevy 2500 with the puck system.

Yes, the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package part # C84FR will fit a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with short bed. That said, you would just need to be mindful of your turning clearance between the cab of the vehicle and loft of the trailer. This typically only becomes an issue when making tight, 90-degree turns so if you are careful then you should be alright with a fixed hitch and short bed. The puck system has also been moved closer to the tailgate on the new GM trucks so that would help as well.
