On our RAM Trailer Jack Model 8000 Series, the Jack won’t move wether it’s cranked down or up.

Sounds like you need a gear kit to fix your Ram 8000 series trailer jack as yours are damaged. For that we have the # TJD-7000S-GR. When the Ram 8000 jack has the issue you described it is due to damaged gears which is what this kit fixes.

Hey John, the replacement gear kit you'd need is the part #TJD-12000-RODNUT which I attached two pictures that have instructions and an install diagram.

Sounds like it's binding up in some way. I would try jacking the trailer up and see if that puts enough force on the drop leg that it frees itself up and allows the pin to drop into a hole again.
