I am trying to light up side boxes on a fire truck I only need about 5 foot of lights per side box can I cut your strip lights an put another end on the piece I cut of?

Yes, the Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip part # UCL90CB can be cut to the desired length you need for your application. That said, there are cut lines on the strip you must use which are located every 2". Once the cut is made you can then use the Optronics LED Light Strip 12-Volt Connector with Wire Leads part # A90PB to make your connections.
