Question:

Im confused on the no switch comment for led light strips Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip - Weatherproof - White - 17foot Long Item # UCL90CB . I need to replace the exterior end cap led lights on the front of my 2018 coachmen leprechaun 319mb as shown in pic. They are bright white. I was hoping these would work. I have an interior 12v switch that activates them. What switch are yall referring to? Also, what cleaner do I use to get old tape residue off from the previous lights? AND finally, do I buy 2 sets, one for the left and one for the right and cut to size? Thx

Thanks for the picture! The Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip item # UCL90CB is extremely versatile. It will connect to any 12-volt power source so I am sure whatever power source and switch your lights are currently running off of will work with these. They do not come with their own switch so I hope that clears up the confusion.

The Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip item # UCL90CB is 17' long so you will just need one spool. You will need to use one of the Optronics LED Light Strip 12-Volt Connector with Wire Leads item # A90PB for each length of lights you cut off of the main 17' section. Essentially you could make 17 one foot sections of lights if you bought 16 of item # A90PB.

In order to remove the adhesive all you will need is a heat gun or blow dryer and bit of adhesive remover such as Goo Gone. To remove the old adhesive you will first want to heat it up with the heat gun until it is warm to the touch. The heat gun will ensure as much of the adhesive used to attach the lights comes off when you wipe it down with the Goo Gone. We don't sell this but you can buy it at any hardware store.
