Question:
Does this hitch really not fit a 2015 volt? 2014 and 2015 were essential the same car. I like the hidden and stealth look of this hitch vs the other two options that are available for the volts. What modifications are needed to the vehicle to make this hitch fit on a 2015?

I have a solution for you, but the EcoHitch # 306-X7186 is not a fit on the 2015 Chevy Volt. Often times there are subtle changes to the frame of the vehicle that make hitches incompatible with different years of the same models of cars, and this appears to be one of those cases. However, you can still use the EcoHitch Stealth # 306-X7180 to give yourself the same hidden hitch that is pretty much not noticeable until you attach the receiver to the hitch when it is in use. This EcoHitch offers a no-drill installation that bolts onto the existing mounting spots on your vehicle's frame.
I have attached an installation video of the EcoHitch on a Chevy Volt that you can use as a reference when it comes time to install the hitch.
