What size battery do i need for 13,000 winch

For a 13,000 pound electric winch you should be pretty safe with a 12V lead acid battery that's rated to at least 650 cold cranking amps (CCA). This will allow for plenty of power to operate this size winch.
Most electric winches will also have a specific battery size recommendation in the manual. If you can tell me the exact model of your winch I will be happy to try and track this down as well.
