Troubleshooting And How To Open Furrion RV Sound Bar Remote

Question:

How do u open the remote. Just purchased a new RV - has the furrion sound bar. Model : FSB2N25MC- BL. Im assuming the battery is dead or has a cover over it. Remote is not working at all with soundbar.

I contacted Furrion on your behalf. With the credit card style remote for the Furrion RV Sound bar w/ USB Charge # FSB2N25MCBL, there is a small push lever at the bottom right. Using your thumbnail or small flathead screwdriver you can pop the remote open. You will find a standard watch battery inside that should not have a plastic protective wrap but could be installed backward which could be your issue.

Unit will show aux in and will not respond to any button commands on unit or remote.

It sounds like the unit is frozen for some reason. Since it's already in Aux In mode, what you can do is simply hold down the "Mode" button for more than 6 seconds. This will reset the sound bar and hopefully re-activate all the buttons and functions.

@ChrisR so what do I do if it’s frozen on pause?? None of my buttons work so I can’t get it to aux mode

@JustinS Have you tried holding down that "Mode" button for 6 seconds? This should actually work to reset the unit regardless of the screen you're on.

Question mine is frozen also but it’s frozen on the welcome screen. How can this be resolved?

Even if you're on the welcome screen holding down the "Mode" button for 6 seconds should reset the unit. Hopefully when it comes back on the issue will be resolved.
