To install a brake controller on your 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you first need 4 pole wiring to provide all the lighting functions, like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56407. Then use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to convert to a 7 way, the 4 pole wiring plugs into the 7 way, and comes with all the wires and connectors to hook up your brake controller.
For a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR. I like this brake controller for the Jeeps, because there is not a whole lot of room on the dash to mount a brake controller without being really close to your knees when driving. But with the Redarc brake controller it uses a remote mount system, where all you see is the control knob, the rest of the unit can be mounted under the dash out of site. It is proportional, but can be switched to user control mode for more precise control, which is great if you off road or have very rough terrain to drive through.
There are a few small parts that you'll want to get to complete the installation, making sure you have all the tools, and supplies always makes for a smoother install. Dielectric grease to protect all the connections # 11755, and extra zip ties # DW05726-25.
To mount the 7 way you can use the Curt No-Drill Bracket # C57202, and the Pollak 7-Pole Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware # PK12711U.
I linked a few videos, some of them are not the same year Jeep as yours, but the process is the same.
