Question:

Guys thanks so much for the measurements... Just need one more, I am tight on space between where I mount this and the tongue jack. So can you tell me the width/depth of the support post. In your drawing, that was great by the way if the depth is 6.5 inches how deep is that post. Trying to understand the profile and how tight it fits against a box that I will be mounting it in front. Just want to make sure I have room between the box and Jack on my trailer to fit this with a tire mounted. : thanks in advance.

On the Demco Spare Tire Carrier # DM15851-76 the vertical tube itself has a depth of 2", while the distance from the front of the base to where it starts is about 4-1/2". I have attached an image to assist.
