There are 2 different Timbren systems available for a 1998 Chevy C/K series 1500. If you have 4 wheel drive you will need # TGMRCK25. If you have 2 wheel drive you will need # TGMRC25HD. I have included links to the instructions for each and an FAQ on Timbren systems for you.

The system you have referenced only goes back to 1999 models.
