I watched a video that showed the installation and recommend adding a on/ of switch to save battery charge should this be done

If you're going to be wiring the camera on the Furion Vision S # FOS43TASF directly to your battery or inverter, as opposed to running it through the the reverse or running light circuit on your 7 way trailer connector, you will want to install a switch like the Derale Lighted On/Off Switch # D16740 in line with that connection.
Wiring in this manner will enable this camera to be used when parked without a tow vehicle connected and the connected on/off switch will help you keep your battery from draining by having the camera constantly draw power.
