Can I Use RoadActive Suspension With A Weight Distribution System

Question:

I have a 2008 Nissan Titan. I pull a 31ft camper weighing in around 7000 lbs. I use a weight distribution hitch. Will the road master active suspension be ok to use with the distribution hitch

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS4611 will work well with the weight distribution hitch. If you are experiencing vehicle sag, I recommend to first make sure the tongue weight of the trailer is 10-15% of the loaded weight of the trailer. You also want to make sure your weight distribution head and spring bars are set up correctly with the right amount of tension. Any weight behind the rear axle of the Titan plus the loaded tongue weight of the trailer needs to fall within the range of the spring bar tongue weight rating.

If you have checked all of these components and still need suspension enhancement, the RoadActive Suspension is a great idea. The suspension enhancement is progressive so it will adjust to the weight of the load to level the truck. They can also be disengaged when not loaded if you chose to. The RoadActive suspension is also great for handling and reduces body roll in the truck.
