I recently purchased mounting brackets for my 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 HD to mount a Westin Grille Guard. I purchased 57-378PK for my truck. Once I installed them, I ran into two problems. Once I tried putting factory bolts back in, it didnt line up. The pre-drilled holes were not aligned. Also, once the mounting brackets were in, the tow hooks will not fit back into the frame. The brackets take up too much space to be able to have tow hooks go back in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I need to purchase a different bracket, please let me know how to send back the mounting brackets that I purchased. Thanks,

Unfortunately I see this happen a lot, where customers want to transfer their grille guards to a new truck using a different mounting bracket set and they're unable to. This is because grille guards are designed specifically to fit certain models of trucks and rarely do they crossover to different manufacturers; long story short, you're not going to be able to mount a grille guard for a Chevy truck on a GMC truck or a Ford truck.
It looks like the Replacement Mounting Brackets # 57-378PK you purchased are designed for the Westin HDX Grille Guard # 57-3785 . This particular grille guard will only fit the 2015-2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 trucks. If you do in fact have the # 57-3785, the mounting holes on your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 aren't going to match up with the holes that are drilled on the grille guard and its replacement mounting kit. The correct Westin HDX Grille Guard for your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 is the # 57-3795 and the replacement mounting kit is # 57-379PK - so if this is your grille guard, you'll just need to exchange the kit you have for the # 57-379PK .
