Question:
I have a 2015 Ram 2500 4X4 crew cab 6.5ft bed with the factory equipped air ride auto leveling rear suspension i.e. factory airbag rear suspension - no leaf or coil springs. The suspension has 2 able ride heights. One is normal ride height which has a normal amount of front rake and alternate ride height which is used for towing and it lowers the rear of the truck about 1.25 inches and makes the truck perfectly level front and rear. I currently tow a 35ft 5th wheel with about 1800lbs of tongue weight and when ing the alternate ride height the truck automatically levels out just fine. The truck also tows fine with no noticeable sway or bouncing. However, I also have a 8.5ft slide in truck camper that weighs approximately 2500lbs. The factory suspension again levels out perfectly when ing the alternate ride height so ride height is a non-issue but I now have very noticeable body roll/sway when the camper is on the truck. So I am looking for the best product to reduce/eliminate the body roll/sway when using the camper that is compatible with my factory suspension. I would like to know which is better for this application the Timbren or the SumoSprings and if either are compatible with the factory air ride auto leveling rear suspension. Here are the models of each that I would like to consider. Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # DRTT3500E SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-312-54 Attached is a picture of the truck with camper and a few of the air suspension and OEM jounce stopper for reference. The normal ride height setting has 5.75 inches of clearance from the frame and the axle and the alternate ride height has 4.65 inches of clearance. There is approximately 3.2 inches from the center of the jounce stop mounting bolt and the air suspension dust cover.

When it comes to carrying a truck bed camper, I always go with Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems over the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs similar to the # SSR-312-54 . With that being said, I think the better solution for your 2015 Ram 2500 are the Timbren # TDRTT3500E, since they are specifically designed for trucks carrying truck bed campers. The Timbren # TDR2500D would also work but are meant more for carrying heavy payloads and may not provide as much body roll dampening.
The Timbren's are designed from a heavier rubber than the foam urethane blend of the SumoSprings, so they will provide a bit stiffer of an application that works much better in stabilizing body roll when carrying heavy truck bed campers like you've got. They'll also compress considerably less to help keep your truck a bit more level, so overall I feel that for your situation you're going to be much happier with the end result.
