Question:

Cannot get the system to turn on...tried the reset button. Thanks for your help.

If your Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A will not turn on, it's going to be either because it's not getting power, it's not grounded properly, or the fuse is blown.

Since you already tried resetting the unit, we'll start by checking the 10 amp fuse on the back of the unit and replace if necessary. Failing to disconnect the battery prior to installing the unit, as recommended by the user manual, could have caused a short, resulting in a blown fuse.

Next, with the vehicle battery re-connected, check the power (red) wire on the main radio harness. With a circuit tester like # PTW2991, test the wire to ensure proper voltage (12V) is going to the unit. If not, check your connection and test again.

If your fuse is good and you are getting 12V on the red wire (number 15 on the attached diagram), it's a sure sign of a bad ground. Check the connection on your black ground wire (number 16 on the attached diagram).

Lastly, if none of these steps get your stereo to turn on, it may be time to replace it either by purchasing a new unit # JWM60A or by using your 1-year manufacturer warranty. I was not able to find your purchase record but you'll want to reach out to the seller for more details on the warranty process.
