How to Tell the B and W Biker Bars # BWMC2302 and # BWMC2301 Apart

Question:

I have a mc2301 and an mc 2302 and have recently mixed the 2 up and cant tell the difference and need to secure my bikes...will this really make a difference or should I try and look for specifics of some kind to differentiate them? thanks

I checked with B and W to find out how to tell the two Biker Bars you have apart and they told me that the # BWMC2301 has black pads where it grabs the frame and the part # BWMC2302 has gray pads. While she didn't specify what the overall differences were beyond that they said you do need to stick with the correct application for each bike.
