Greetings...keys lost from previous owner has me wondering if I am SOL in this situation or IF there’s a box that can accommodate...thank you very much! Respectfully yours P.S. square bars

It sounds like you have a Thule square bar roof rack that is locked on the roof of your vehicle and you need a way to unlock the rack so you can move it. What you need to do is look at the lock core on the rack and get the stamped numbers there. With that number you can order a replacement key. It should be a number like N2806 which would require the replacement key part # THKEYN2806.

46 inches of crossbar spread is going to be too wide to fit a box as even our longer boxes like the Thule # TH629906 have a max spread of 36-7/8 inches.
