Can 5-3/4 Inch Tandem Axle Equalizers be Replaced with 5-5/8 Inch Equalizers

I need to replace my equilizers. Mine are 5 3/4 wide. The complete kit you sell is 5 5/8. all other measurments are the same. Will it work???

The Tandem-Axle Equalizer Kit, # AP233, will work as long as all other measurements are the same. Check that your shackle straps are 2-1/4 inches from center hole to center hole. The 5-3/4 inch long equalizer, # TREQ104, we carry is a direct replacement for the 5-5/8 inch long equalizer.

Yes, I would recommend keeping the bolts of the #AP233 lubricated. An easy way to do this is to use wet bolts like part #126B2 which have a zerk fitting that allows for easy application of grease to them.
