How To Replace a Solera Power Drive Awning Head

Question:

Do you have detailed removal and re-installation instructions for the awning power head part # LC273478. I bought this trailer used and the previous owner had told me that the existing power head was damaged and he had bought the replacement part from you, which he included, but did not have any instructions. He did mention something about securing the idler side head to prevent the awning spring from unwinding ???. Thank you

Yes, we have a fairly detailed install process to remove and install a power awning head such as the Solera Power Awning Drive Head part # LC273478 which I have attached for you below. If you have any questions on this process please just let me know. The arms do indeed need to be secured.
