Will Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit Change Height of RV

Question:

I have a tandem axle 1997 Dutchman 18 foot rv. .I would like to upgrade leaf spring shackle and pivot arm. My questions ...will this change rv height, any other items needed when purchasing the 359-oo kit?

The Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit for Tandem-Axle Trailers - 1-3/4" Wide Double Eye Springs # K71-359-00 will not change the height of your 1997 Dutchman RV because its equalizers and shackle straps should have the same (or very close) measurements to the ones that come with this kit.

This suspension kit's equalizers are 5-3/4" center-hole to center-hole and its shackle straps are 2-1/4" center-hole to center-hole. For this kit to be a fit you need to have those same (or very similar) measurements and your axle spacing should be 33" (or very close).

In regards to other items needed, there are not any required to install the Dexter Suspension Kit # K71-359-00. I have added links to a video review and install which I recommend taking a look at.
