Question:

Ive got a 1973 Chevrolet T-65 tilt cab and Im looking for a suitable hitch plate for it. I believe these trucks were the same from the early 60s to the early 80s when they stopped making them. Id like one that is mostly complete but Im no stranger to fabrication.

As long as the distance from outside to outside on the rear frame rails of your 1973 Chevrolet T-65 is 34 inches the Buyers Products Hitch Plate with Receiver Tube # 3371809065 is the correct size and would work well. It's designed to fit the style of truck you have though so I'd be shocked if yours didn't match this as the 34 inch frame is a very standard size.
