Question:
It seems like most all pictures I have seen with the Center Point Air Ride Trailer Suspension installed also had shocks installed. Will the Center Point Air Ride Trailer Suspension work to improve the ride without shocks?

Expert Reply:
It is not required to use shock absorbers alongside the Lippert Components Center Point part # LC1565391. There will still be a dramatic increase in ride quality without them. The reason that you do see the pair being used together is because the airbags have a tendency to bounce a bit on bumpy roads and the shock absorbers will minimize this. Most individuals who install the Center Point are looking for the best possible ride so they will go all out so to speak and add shocks as well but they are not needed and the potential bounce is nothing drastic that would require addressing.
That said, if you would like to add shocks as well we have these, the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit part # LC281255 or part # LC281281.
