How to Determine if Replacement Quick Grip Mount Fits Rooftop Box

Question:
I have a BMW 460 roof box that has a proprietary system that attaches to the BMW roof bars however I would like to use it with my Yukon. Will these parts be able to replace the BMW system?

It is possible that the Replacement Quick Grip Mount Assembly # TH05738 will work on your BMW box, though they have never been tested together and we don't have any type of access to those cargo boxes so it is impossible to make a definitive conclusion. Based on the photo you sent and comparing it to the way the Quick Grip Assembly fits on a cargo box it looks like it may work. What I recommend is measuring where the Quick Grips would fit on your box to see if it is close to a match. Assembly # TH05738 is a total of about 6-3/4" long and the distance from inside to inside of the claws at its largest point (at the top) is 5-1/4".
