Does the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12 Inch White Wheel AM30660 Come Pre-Balanced

Question:
Do the tire and wheel packages that you sell come mounted and balanced?
asked by: Steve O
Expert Reply:
The Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel part # AM30660 does come pre-mounted but it does not come pre-balanced. However, balancing is not needed for trailer tires as they are not on steer axles. These tires should also not be balanced with clamp-on weights because they will most likely throw them off anyhow.
In summary, it is a rather waste of money to balance trailer tires but some people do insist that this makes a difference so if you like, you can take these to get balanced but make sure to use stick-on weights.
